This is what we needed to be replaced for our 2016 5th Wheel Cyclone Toy Hauler a new propane regulator. Installed and ready to go camping. My husband checks everything before we hit the road for our first camping weekend and I noticed the sound of the propane regulator was leaking.

Product is exactly as expected. A direct replacement for a leaking GR-630. Easy install.

Direct replacement part that functions as intended. No issues with installation or performance.

by:

Bought this to replace a bad (leaking) LP regulator on my 5th wheel RV. The physical size was smaller than my original one, but the fitting size and specs were the same. This one has been installed a year now and still working great. Highly recommend and would by this again.

Still working great.

by:

Much smaller than I expected but seems to be working well. Had my 5th wheel in the shop for another matter and had them install it since it was already there. No issues with install,it's pretty straightforward install.

by:

I have installed it it seems that it is exactly as described. I will be using it this weekend for a mountain camping trip on my trailer. Hopefully it will work properly and everything will be okay. Will keep you posted.

Wonderful, I have had no issues with this product.

by:

This regulator was a direct replacement for one that started to leak. Worked flawlessly last season. Haven’t used it yet this season.

by:

by:

by:

Part was delivered quickly and a perfect fit works great and does what it’s supposed to do. E trailer is made it easy to order. Gave great description of parts.

by:

Bought this as a spare to have if I have a problem with my existing regulator which is the third one I have had. I hope I never have to use it.

by:

Wasn't sure I had the right thing but after watching your video I knew it would work.

by:

Product installed easy worked just fine. Good value. If you have a older unit similar model this one may be smaller in size but is the right regulator. Used this to fix my 5th wheel that the regulator failed on. Very well priced. Thanks

No issues after 1 year. I will order from etrailer again.

by:

Did not fit, I never used it!

by:

The product is just what I needed. It was fairly priced compared to other suppliers. My only concern is the freight cost to have it delivered

by:

Regulator was a direct replacement for one that developed a ruptured diaphragm on our 5th Wheel. As always, helpful service, in stock parts, and lightning fast shipping. Great company to deal with!

by:

Operates as advertised. Use it for my RV propane tank.
Would buy it again.

by:

I just received this part and have yet to install as rv is in winter storage until April. I'm sure it will work fine. This regulator is much smaller than original but built to deliver same results. This is second time replacing. Process of elimination. Once again no use of propane from full tank on opposite side. Purchased new hose (11ft) and this regulator. Smelled propane. Immediately searched etrailer for replacement parts. Will update late once install is completed

by:

This is my second purchase from ETRAILER.com
My
first purchase was a fifth wheel adapter for my F-450 that I new nothing about, I sent one email asking for help and got immediate response and was told exactly what I needed. This time I ordered a part under $20 and received an email on Sunday night from a staff me letting me know that he received my order and was able to ship it a day early. Great service, fast shipping and they have videos of almost any product they sell. I will always continue business with ETRAILER

by:

Very good product, came fast and I will buy from etrailer again

  • Can Single Stage Regulator Be Used for Both 20 Pound and 100 Pound Propane Tank
A single stage regulator like the MB Sturgis # 108072 you referenced will indeed work on either a 20 pound or 100 pound propane tank. It's important to note though that the regulator type is really dependent on the propane-powered appliance you're using and not necessarily the tank itself. A dual-stage regulator like # 108221 will provide a more constant/consistent pressure for your appliance.

  • Is Teflon Tape Needed To Seal the Propane Regulator
Yes, you will want to use some sort of thread sealer like part # LT37482 or pipe tape like part # A05-0265 on the NPT fittings inside of the MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator part # 108072. As a general rule, all NPT fittings should have some sort of thread sealer or pipe tape on them. Not to confuse you but some supply hoses (propane tank to regulator) like part # 100833-12 come with an inverted flare fitting and if that is the case then you would also need part # 402258-MBS...

  • Recommended Regulator for LP Garage Heater
For your 30,000 BTU LP garage heater you will want to use a dual-stage propane regulator. If you need a vertical regulator the MB Sturgis # 108220 will work great or for a horizontal regulator you can use part # 108221. These dual-stage regulators will reduce the tank pressure to 10 psi to stabilize the gas and then reduce it to constant 11" WC for efficient gas flow. I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these regulators that you can also check out.

  • What Size and Type of Regular to Connect 100-lb Tank to Martin Direct Vent Propane Heater
According to the installation manual for the Marvin Direct Vent Propane Heaters, the minimum permissible propane gas pressure is 11" WC (water column), which our MB Sturgis Single Stage Regulator # 108072 can supply. If you are connecting the heater directly to your 100-lb tank, then you will also want a pigtail hose # 37207-30865, to go from the tank valve to the regulator and a supply hose with a 1/4" male NPT fitting to connect at the regulator and a 3/8 female NPT fitting to connect...

  • Can a Single Stage Propane Regulator Be Used In Place of a Dual Stage
The MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator part # 108072 can be used in place of a dual stage regulator so long as the fittings on the end of the leader hose are the same which they should be. I am not sure what you mean by, "Can I swap these out and then have the regulator on the stove come into play" but you only need to have one regulator running from the propane supply to the accessory assuming it reduces the pressure to the correct water column (W.C.) count and has the correct BTU...

  • Replacement Single Stage High Pressure Regulator
Yes. You can use regulator # 108072 since it is a high pressure regulator. There should be a second regulator, probably on the opposite side of the trailer, that takes the pressure down further to an 11" water column for use with the accessories that run off of propane.

  • Propane Regulator Replacement For A 1992 Coleman Elite Royal Pop Up Camper

Replacing the pigtail hose with the MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - RV Type 1 w/ Back Check x 1/4" MPT - 12" # 100473-12 could also update your Coleman Elite propane setup.

The only high pressure regulator we currently carry is the MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072 with has 30 psig and will deliver that pressure in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This will require adapting to the 1/4 inch inlet and 1/4 inch outlet. Unfortunately we don't carry that 1/2 inch adapter as it is not standard on RV's.

  • Can Blue Thread Locker Be Used On Propane Fittings
Blue thread sealer can be used but you run the risk of it clogging the line if it spreads out from the threads to the tip of the fitting. It's safer to just use thread sealant tape like # 37207-30025 to avoid any clog issues. You would not want to use thread sealant on flared fittings since they'll have a gasket to prevent leaks.

  • Connecting 20 lb Propane Tank to Stove
It depends on the connections you have to make, there isn't a universal tank to stove connection. For example, the Propane Pigtail - Type 1 x 1/4" MPT # 100473-20-MBS is a 20" long hose with a Type 1 Acme nut for an Acme or P.O.L. connection on your propane tank and a 1/4" Male NPT connection at the other end which normally connects to a regulator such as # 108072, though if that's what your stove uses it can connect to that as well. • Replacement for GR-630 Propane Regulator
The MB Sturgis Single Stage propane regulator, part # 108072 would be a direct replacement for your existing GR-630 30 psi regulator. In my research, I did see that the GR-630 is prone to leakage but you'd want to reach out to Dutchman for any specifics regarding a recall.

  • What Is A Flare Propane Fitting
Flare fittings have a slightly different shape than a standard fitting. There's both flare and inverted flare fittings so it's important that choose the correct fitting to ensure that it'll work with whatever you're connecting it to and won't leak. The MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072 you were looking at requires 1/4" male NPT (national pipe thread) fittings so you wouldn't need a flare fitting to connect to it.

  • Replacement Regulator For GR-630 Regulator That Leaks
I have done some research on the GR-630 and it sounds like the diaphragm inside is damaged so it leaks. I recommend to replace it with MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator part # 108072. MB Sturgis makes reliable quality regulators. This particular regulator has the same 1/4" inlet and outlet of your existing regulator so it's a direct replacement.

I have an option for you but the Mr. Heater Model F273719 regulator will not be a replacement for the Marshall Model 250 regulator. From my research, I found the Marshall 250 is an automatic change-over two-stage regulator. • Gas Not Switching to Secondary Tank After Regulator Replacement
A 2-stage propane regulator like part # 108220 is not designed to switch over the gas from one tank to another. In order to switch the flow of gas from one tank to another you would need to use an auto changeover regulator like part # CAM59005. A 2-stage and auto changeover regulator may both look the same but are very different in function. This is likely why the gas is not switching for the empty tank and not a failed secondary regulator like part # 108072.
